Deborah Childers

I am a wife and mom, a teacher and tutor, an advocate for the marginalized, a volunteer and a mentor.  But before all of these roles, I was a daughter. . . chosen and dearly loved by a heavenly Father.  This blog site is birthed out of my need to be daily reminded that God never  tires of bringing beauty from disruption and making broken people new again.  

I am married to Mark and blessed with five kids, ages 13 to 23, who have each brought their own brand of disruption to my life.  We live in  Greensboro, North Carolina, a community which has grown deeper and stronger through navigating disruption.
